A Boy in 100,000

There was an article on the front page of the South Wales Echo on Wednesday 14th February, 1951: "David Trace, a young Cardiff schoolboy, is a boy in 100,000. David, aged 14, lives at 36 Colum Road, Cardiff, and he won first prize of £40 out of 100,000 entries in a painting competition organised by R.K.O. Pictures, Ltd. A pupil of Canton High School for Boys, David received his cheque from the Lord Mayor of Cardiff (Alderman George Williams) at the city hall today."
